In a significant move aimed at extending support to veterans beyond Veterans Day, the Association of Lodging Professionals has announced the expansion of its renowned B&Bs for Vets program to operate year-round, starting in 2024.

Traditionally tied to the commemoration of Veterans Day in November, the program has garnered acclaim for its efforts in providing complimentary and discounted accommodations to veterans. However, recognizing the ongoing needs of veterans and the positive impact of such initiatives, the B&Bs for Vets Committee, led by Chairperson Gwenn Eyer, has decided to broaden the program's scope.

Under the revamped structure, participating properties now have the flexibility to determine the duration and nature of the discounts they wish to offer. Whether it's a complimentary room, a percentage discount, a buy-one-get-one offer, or any other form of support, the decision lies entirely with the participating properties. Furthermore, discounts can be made available for a week, a month, or even throughout the entire year, granting greater autonomy to contributors.
