ALP Call for Board of Directors Nominations

Applications must be received by June 25 at 5:00 PM EST.

The Association of Lodging Professionals (ALP) is now accepting applications for nominations to the ALP Board of Directors. Applications must be received by 5pm EST on June 25, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by the Leadership Development Committee (LDC). The slate for 2025 will be decided by the ALP Board of Directors and presented to the membership for ratification in early 2025.

All members in good standing are eligible to submit an application (this includes lodging professionals, allied partners, aspiring lodging professionals, etc.). Board seats have a three-year term of service beginning March 1, 2025.

In order to be considered for a currently open or future board seat, the nomination application must be completed in full and submitted by the deadline above. Members who have applied previously are encouraged to submit an updated application for consideration.

Nominees must be able to devote the required time and be able to pay for travel and related expenses to attend board meetings. ALP does not reimburse travel. Board meetings are held virtually at a minimum of once every two months (or as needed) and in-person meetings are held one to two times a year. One of these in-person meetings takes place during the annual conference, and all Board members are expected to attend the meeting and conference in person. Board members are also expected to serve on one committee which would require additional virtual meetings (frequency depends on the committee).
