Following the closure of the ballots on February 8, the 2024 election of the Board of Directors has concluded with the approval of the slate by a majority vote, comprising 18% of the voting members. Notably, two incumbent members of the Board, Patrick Campbell of Keystone Inn Bed & Breakfast (PA) and Wynn Salisch of Casablanca Payments (NY), have been re-elected, demonstrating continued confidence in their leadership.

Joining the ranks of the Board is Mitch Pies of Mitchell J. Pies Agency, Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance, who has been elected for his first term. Sarah Gazi, ALP’s CEO, expressed enthusiasm about Pies's appointment, stating, "Mitch will be a great addition to the Board of Directors. He brings a new perspective and a ton of fresh ideas," underscoring the anticipation for the contributions he will make to the organization's governance.

The commencement of the new Board of Directors term is slated for March 1, 2024. The inaugural meeting of the re-elected and newly elected members is scheduled for March 2, 2024, to take place in Orlando, Florida, coinciding with the ALP Conference & Marketplace. This gathering promises to be an opportune moment for the Board to align on strategic priorities and set the course for the upcoming year, leveraging the diverse expertise and perspectives within its ranks.
