Interim Innkeeper needed for temporary operational coverage.

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a professional, trustworthy Interim Innkeeper to seamlessly manage daily operations at our property. This temporary role requires a hands-on professional who can maintain our high standards of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and property care while ownership or permanent management is away. The ideal candidate will have prior bed & breakfast or boutique hotel management experience and the ability to adapt quickly to our established routines.

Key Responsibilities: 

Guest Services: Manage the complete guest experience, including check-ins, check-outs, concierge services, and resolving guest inquiries or complaints with a warm, professional demeanor.

Food & Beverage: Oversee or directly handle daily breakfast operations, including menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, serving, and maintaining strict kitchen sanitation standards.

Operations & Tech: Utilize the property management and booking systems to process new reservations, manage room assignments, and handle payments.

Housekeeping & Maintenance: Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure impeccable room cleanliness, or perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed; troubleshoot minor property maintenance issues.

Security & Oversight: Provide 24/7 oversight of the property, serving as the primary point of contact for emergency situations.

Qualifications: 

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in innkeeping, B&B management, or boutique hospitality operations.

Skills: Strong culinary skills with experience catering to common dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian).

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with property management systems and online travel agency (OTA) channels.Attributes: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high emotional intelligence, autonomy, and absolute reliability.
