Welcome to our Inn!  We are Meri Wick and Marcus Little – the proud owners of The Westbrook Inn Bed & Breakfast, in the coastal town of Westbrook Connecticut.  A  visit to the Inn brings you back to a simpler place and time.  We love being part of this small community ripe with historic significance.  David Bushnell invented the submarine in this very town!  A Maritime community, Westbrook offers lovely beaches, thriving marinas, and opportunities to charter boats to enjoy the Long Island Sound.  Westbrook has a history of shipbuilding.  Our Inn was part of that story.  Originally a private home gifted to Ida Post from her Sea Captain father.  It became a  boarding house to men who came to work in the ship building trade.  A Bed & Breakfast for 35+ years, elements of the past can be found throughout the Inn.

We became Inn Keepers in 2019.  Originally it was our retirement plan, but after research, we quickly learned owning an Inn is not a retirement job!  The most rewarding part of our jobs is meeting the wonderful visitors who come through our doors   We want that warm, inviting hospitality  to be what our guests experience as well.  Our home is your home,  we want you to touch things, use them and enjoy them.

The Inn is a mix of vintage décor and modern convenience.  Reimagined Victorian Farmhouse is the vibe at the Inn.  You will find it fresh, clean and with the most comfortable beds.  Breakfast is a time of creativity for us.  Interesting egg dishes, decadent French Toasts, and buttery scones are our specialty.

Each year we introduce fresh ideas, move towards sustainability and updates areas of the Inn.  Our gardens, firepits and riverside patios provide many areas to retreat and enjoy an afternoon of reading or a glass of wine in the evening.  You can walk to the beach or kayak along the river.  There is so much to do in the area year-round.  Christmas in Connecticut is something special.  Our fireplace rooms offer a cozy retreat.  We offer packages with tickets to the holiday shows in the area.  Our Christmas Tea events are throughout November and December and will tickle your fancy with tiny sandwiches and delightful baked goods paired with Seasonal Teas.
