This 3-week Lab helps lodging professionals intentionally design guest experiences that feel personal, practical, and memorable—without adding unnecessary cost, time, or complexity to their operations.
Through live Zoom sessions, instructor demos, and hands-on homework, participants will explore how small, thoughtful choices can create emotional connection, increase perceived value, and encourage repeat stays and loyalty.
Week 1 – Touches That Wow: Creating Emotional Connection at Key Guest MomentsFocus on personal, emotional touches that create connection throughout the guest journey.Instructor demo includes simple examples at different budget and effort levels.Homework: Add one “wow” touch to your arrival, mid-stay, or departure routine and share your idea, photo, or video.
Week 2 – Amenities Guests Actually Use (and Notice!)Focus on amenities that increase comfort, reduce friction, and elevate perceived value—not just cost.Instructor demo highlights affordable, adaptable amenity ideas for different property types.Homework: Plan one new amenity or upgrade an existing one and share your plan, photo, or video.
Week 3 – Designing Memorable ExperiencesGo beyond the room with low-lift, high-impact experiences guests remember—both onsite and offsite.Instructor demo includes creative onsite experiences and ways to leverage local partnerships.Homework: Design one onsite experience and one offsite experience for your guests and share your draft ideas.
